Project Description
The Betty Field is located within the Baram Delta in the South China Sea, about 40km North West of Lutong, Miri, Sarawak. The equity of the field is shared between PCSB and SSS, with PCSB as Operator.
The Betty existing infrastructure comprises three (3) platforms: one (1) Drilling and Production Platform (BEDP-A), a Separation and Liquid Handling Platform (SEP-A) and a Remote Vent Platform (BEV-A). BEDP-A and BEP-A are interconnected by a bridge whereas BEP-A and BEV-A are connected through a subsea pipeline. The Betty field is interconnected with three other fields by pipeline: with the Bokor Field for export of HHP, HP and LP gas (HP and LP pipelines are currently not in service); with the Baronia Field for export of gas from SEP-A Gross liquids are sent from BEP-A to MCOT via the Bakau Field.
The Betty HP wells will flow to the HP separator (V-100) and the gas outlet line from this separator is currently routed to the 18" pipeline pig launcher for export directly to BNG-B at 350psig discharge pressure combined with Laila production to BNG-B. Total HP export to Baronia is restricted to a total of 40MMsfcd due to constraint on ullage availability at BNG-B gas compression facilities, BARDEGG1.
The Laila facility is to facilitate Laila gas handling at BEDP-A. Laila Full Well Stream (FWS) from Laila Wellhead Platform is routed to Laila Slug Catcher (V-1600) for separation. Condensate is combined with Betty production at HP separator (V-100) at SEP-A Gas is routed to BNG-B via PL-355. Laila Gas Jumper Line is connected at the HHP-Separator V-500 gas outlet.
The main objective of Betty Redevelopment (NFA Safeguarding) is to perform the following modifications at SEP-A and BEDP-A to compliment Bokor Central Processing Platform (BOCPP) once it is live.
Scope of Work
- In 2014, PPTSB started their Phase 1 upgrading project - they intend to upgrade a few of its Non-API compliant centrifugal pumps those with HydroCarbon & H2S contain to API compliant to improve the plant operational safety.
- After a year’s hard work, we managed to secure an order form PPTSB where consisting of 8 units pumps and convert from Sealed Pump (API 610) to Magnetic Sealless Pump (API 685).
- Existing Pump is Sealed Pump.
