Overview

  • In 2014, PPTSB started their Phase 1 upgrading project - they intend to upgrade a few of its Non-API compliant centrifugal pumps those with HydroCarbon & H2S contain to API compliant to improve the plant operational safety.
  • After a year’s hard work, we managed to secure an order form PPTSB consisting of 8 units pumps and conversion of Sealed Pump ( API 610) to Magnetic Sealless Pump ( API 685).
  • Existing Pump is Sealed Pump.

PETRONAS PENAPISAN (Terengganu) Malaysia (PPTSB). This PETRONAS Refinery is PETRONAS' first oil refinery in Malaysia, Located in the state of Terengganu (East Coast) , the refinery processes 49,000 barrels of Malaysian light, sweet crude oil per day.

Project Background

  • In 2014, PPTSB started their Phase 1 upgrading project - they intend to upgrade a few of its Non-API compliant centrifugal pumps those with HydroCarbon & H2S contain to API compliant to improve the plant operational safety.
  • After a year’s hard work, we managed to secure an order form PPTSB where consisting of 8 units pumps and convert from Sealed Pump (API 610) to Magnetic Sealless Pump (API 685).
  • Existing Pump is Sealed Pump.

Project Specialities

  • HMD New Product and Technology.
  • 6 units GSPV (Vertical Inline) & 2 units GSP (Horizontal).
  • We managed to package all pumps with Vapour View & Zero Loss Shroud.
  • First Installation in Malaysia for HMD Vertical Pumps, Zero Loss Shroud & Vapour View.
  • Replaced existing Non API sealed pump to API685 Magnetic Drive Sealless Pump.
