Project Description
Application
The Gas metering system configuration is as follow:
Meter skid with 3 x 50% meter streams
- ALTOSONIC/FLOWSONIC 600 ultrasonic meter 12’’
- Automatic sampling system
- Density transducers
Metering Control System:
- FC-55 FLOWCOMPUTERS
- KROHNE SynEnergy Supervisory Computer System
- CALSYS 3.1 validation software
The liquid metering system configuration is as follow:
Meter skid with 2 x 100% meter streams each equipped with:
- FRAURE HERMAN HELIFUN TZN Turbine Flow Meters 2’’
- Automatic Sampling system
- Small Volume prover; DANIEL Compact prover
Meter skid with 2 x 100% meter streams each equipped with:
- 2 x KROHNE FC-55 Flow Computer
- KROHNE SynEnergy Supervisory Computer System
- CALSYS 3.1 validation software

Project Description
The PC4 field is located approximately 148km offshore Bintulu at a water depth of 79 meters in block SK310.
PC4 is an unmanned 4-legged platform with 6 conductor slots and minimal facility for well testing and custody meter. Gas production from PC4 will be tied back to B11 hub via a 12” pipeline for distance of 25 km. The gas will be metered before it goes into B11 processing facilities. Upon arrival at B11R-A, PC4 production will be separated and metered using Allocation Metering and later Commingle with production from other platforms at B11DR-A.
Scope of Supply
KOG supplied the Wet Gas Venturi system, for the PC4 Satellite Drilling Platform of PC4 Gas development project. The Gas Metering System configuration is as follow:
Well 1:
- 1 Venturi Tube 10” 1500# RF
- 1 EA Pressure transmitter c/w multiport gauge valve
- 2 x Differential pressure transmitter c/w 5 way valve manifold
- 1 x Temperature transmitter come with RTD Pt-100 and Thermowell
Well 2:
- 1 Venturi Tube 10” 1500# RF
- 1 Pressure transmitter c/w multiport gauge valve
- 2 x Differential pressure transmitter c/w 5 way valve manifold
- 1 x Temperature transmitter come with RTD Pt-100 and Thermowell

Measurement requirements
KROHNE EMAS solution
- KROHNE clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter: OPTISONIC 6300
- Two OPTISONIC 6300 are installed on 2-inch steel pipes measuring the flow rate of glycol running through. The flow rate of glycol is matched with the flow rate of the natural gas. By doing this a reasonable estimate can be made of the amount of water left in the gas stream leaving the dehydrator. The required accuracy is 1 to 3%.

- Glycol is non–conductive
- Ensures flow rate is constant for pump protection

- Duplex Stainless Steel, 900# 2 x 100% meter run configuration with master meter proving method
- 2’’ helical blade turbine meter
- Automatic gas sampling system
Metering Control System:
- 5 x KROHNE FC-55 Flow Computers, all connected to an individual meter stream
- 1 x common supervisory computer connected to KROHNE FC-55 Flow Computers for Gas and Liquid metering systems
- 1 x metering cabinet to mount the KROHNE FC-55 Flow Computers, PLC and common supervisory
Analyser System:
- 3-Sided Analyser Shelter
- 4 x AMETEK H2S analyzer
- 1 x Condensate in Water analyzer
- 1 x Water in Condensate analyzer
