Overview

The North Malay Basin (NMB) is located offshore Peninsular Malaysia immediately south of the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Areas (MTJDA) (Figure 1), approximately 150 km North East from Kota Bharu, in 55 to 60 m water depth. The NMB area consists of Blocks PM-302 and PM-325. Hess Exploration & Production Malaysia B.V (HESS) and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) are contractors to PETRONAS for the Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) and have executed a Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) between them. Pursuant to the JOA, HESS and PCSB each hold 50% participating interest for the Blocks and HESS has been appointed the Operator for the Blocks. The development projects are located within Block PM-302.

Phase 4A development includes the remote wellhead platforms in the Dahlia, Kangsar and Teratai fields, and the production to be transported to Bergading CPP via a trunk-line, targeted in Q3 2022.

Scape of Supply

The corrosion inhibitor chemical injection skid is composed of Milton Roy API 675 Chemical Injection Pump with an Actuator Capacity Controller (ACC), AC electric motor, pulsation dampeners, rotameter, API valves, instrument valves, pressure safety valves, tubing, piping and a 6.6 m3 SS316L tank all installed on a carbon steel baseplate.

Scope of Supply

The portable methanol injection skid is composed of Milton Roy API 675 Chemical Injection Pump, AC electric motor, pulsation dampeners, rotameter, API valves, pressure safety valves, pressure switches, SS316L piping and local control panel (LCP), all installed on a DNVGL certified carbon steel lifting frame baseplate. The 2m3 SS316L tote tank is supplied separately in a lifting frame.
