Here is a line-up of motor-operated actuators of basically ON/OFF control. 3100 series is featured by small-size, lightweight and high output. 3400 series and 3420 series use case, cover, mounting portion, etc. commonly with a full-electronic actuator. 3900 series can be used for an inexpensive and simple instrumentation, with a potentiometer mounted for detection of control position, besides small size and lightweight. Pneumatic Diaphragm Actuators

This Series provides high performance, high power diaphragm actuators of multi-spring type that are compact and light. Receiving pneumatic or electric signals, the unit balances the force created when diaphragm is air-pressured through positioner and the force of compressed spring, so that the output shaft is controlled and placed at a set position.
Control of position by pneumatic signals (20 to 100Kpa) directly applied on diaphragm is also possible. Combination with KOSO positioner provides high accuracy position control.
Disc Damper

Metal seal ring with a cut-end is set around the disc.
This construction realizes low seating force and better shut off performance. It also provides more resistance against very high operating temperature. The seat ring’s thermal expansion with fluid temperature fluctuation makes the valve best suited to high-temperature fluid service.

L Port 3-Way
Each of 331L series and 331T series is equipped with a spherical internal face.
Each of 331L series and 331T series is equipped with a spherical internal face. It is an automatic operation ball valve 2-position operation type used for shunt type that switches the fluid from one direction to two directions and for mixing type that switches the fluid from two directions to one direction. The standard drive unit is a combination of cylinder type and motor-operated type.

The offtake from a ball valve, when totally opened,has the same bore as the pipeline and it’s fluid resistance is negligible. For this reason, this atuomatic valve is best suited to on-off service, controlling various types of liquid, gas and slurry.
301R: Acid Resistant

FLOWMAX Eccentric Segmental
This series is eccentric segmental ball valve for modulating application.
Comparing to globe valve, body is compact, ligh weight, and yet it has large Cv value, large rangeability,and can be convertible to reduced bore type (60, 40% reduce ) by changing seal ring only.
400H: Parallel Slide Valves
Parallel slide has KOSO’s own design/construction to realize very good and firm metal-to-metal touch sealing performance.
Its excellent shut-off performance, brought about by the metal-to-metal sealing, makes it suitable to a variety of severe services, including emergency shut-off/opening at extremely low to high temperature.
API 594 Check Valve
The center vertical pin shaft. When the valve is open, the resultant force of fluid is on the center of sealing face of valve clack
The center vertical pin shaft. When the valve is open, the resultant force of fluid is on the center of sealing face of valve clack, while the point of action of counter spring support force is on the center of valve clack surface so that the root of valve clack opens firstly. It avoids wearing of sealing face of old conventional valve when valve opens, and increase the persistence of valve seal. When flow slows down, counter force of torsion spring makes the valve clack moves to valve seat, and the valve is in slow off stage.
When fluid flow backwards, the closing of valve clack is correspondingly increased and enters the rapid closing stage under force of backflow fluid on valve clack and counterforce of torsion spring. The influence and harm of water hammer is effectively reduced. When closed, the spring force closes the top of valve clack firstly so that bite phenomenon on root of valve clack is prevented to guarantee longer service life of valve sealing face.
API 594 single clack wafer check valve is single clack swing wafer connecting check valve that prevents backflow of medium. They are all ultra-thin check valves. Single clack swing wafer connecting check valve is designed to be connected through wafer. stainless steel or stellite build up welding may be applied for sealing face of valve body and valve clack. The valve is suitable for clean medium, and not suitable for medium with solid particles and great viscosity. Main advantage of tilting disc check valve is overcoming shock, water hammer in operating condition of swing check valve and lifting check valve to realize shock-free operation.
